Are you escaping under the pretense of manifestation/ affirmations??

Manifestation/ Affirmations are frequently used to escape the world, to avoid dealing with issues and to avoid accepting responsibility for one’s life.
And although that is one of the reasons people get into manifestations/ affirmations, it is highly confused many times.

Let’s Assume I have developed an insecurity about people leaving me over the years.

Then I come across a video that says “Watch this and people will never leave you.”
And I’m drawn to this video and watch it.
After watching it, I began using various methods, techniques, and affirmations.

I say things like
” everyone keeps chasing me for attention “.
I am the center of attention for my special someone.

There’s nothing wrong in with being the centre if attention or wanting people to like us.
BUT
Under the pretense of affirmation/ manifestation,
I just ignored the real issue,
My fear of abandonment.

This is how we unknowingly start using affirmations as an escape of actually working on ourselves.

Because I will constantly keep affirming but nothing will happen, as

I HAVE NOT CHANGED.

I am still someone who fears being lonely/ abandoned and seeks security from the outside world.

So what shall we do now?
Certainly things will be different for every person, however a better affirmation could be

” it is safe to have healthy relationships”.

“It’s safe to be emotionally available in a relationship “.

These affirmations will help understand the root cause and will help us understand our desires clearly.
